Pardubice, April 22nd, 2014 ERA Company passed the Site Acceptance Tests for the airport surface management system at Baku airport several days ago. The ERA MLAT system has been developed as an extension of the already implemented WAM system Caspian Sea. The contract awarded in 2011 has built on the success the Azerbaijan Air Navigation Service has experienced with this system which monitors low flying helicopters and aircraft over the Caspian Sea.
Brno, April 15th – 16th, 2014 In the mid April ERA Company traditionally became a partner of the conference PVO 2014 in Brno. The event was organized by the Department of Air Defence Systems in the club of Faculty of Military Technology of University of Defence in Brno and this year highlight topic was the history of radiolocation in Czech lands and abroad.
Pardubice, April 10th, 2014 The members of Czech Parliament Defence Committee visited the ERA headquarters in the beginning of April. The main goal of the visit was introduction of alternative radiolocation methods by ERA experts, a presentation of ERA military solutions portfolio and a tour of the ERA premises. Within several hours lasting programme parliamentarians were introduced to the history of passive systems of Czech origin demonstrating by long term usage of PET system called in 5th generation VERA-NG.
Pardubice, March 18, 2014 Official delegation of the Republic of Rwanda visited the ERA headquarters in Pardubice in mid-March. Six officials of Rwanda Armed Forces lead by General Major Frank Mushyo Kamanzi came to Czech Republic to search the possibilities of future cooperation with Czech exporters.
