Mr. Spurny brings over 20 years of experience to Era including executive leadership positions in finance and administration for large technology and financial organizations.  Mr. Spurny is an accomplished executive with expertise in large-scale capital programs and Management by Objectives (MBO).

Prior to joining Era, Mr. Spurny was the Chief Financial Officer and a Board Member of GZ Digital Media, the largest optical discs replicator in Central and Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for cash flow and risk management along with re-leveraging the entire company.   At Winslow Partners, Mr. Spurny was responsible for representing this private equity fund at a board level, analyzing industries, generating investment leads and participating in negotiations.  Mr. Spurny has also held a CFO title at Barings Communication Equity/TES Media and Investment Manager positions at Tyn Group and Catalyst.

Mr. Spurny graduated in 1986 with B.S. degree and in 1991 from the MBA program at Rochester Institute of Technology’s US Business School in Prague.
