Alexandria , VA – February 6, 2007 – Following a series of strategic acquisitions, Rannoch Corporation has officially changed its name to Era Corporation.

On October 26, 2006, Rannoch Corporation acquired ERA a.s. to join forces in establishing one company with the shared goal of leading the world in multilateration and ADS-B surveillance technologies.

On December 12, 2006, Rannoch acquired BAE's TAMIS group to offer its customers a solution that delivers the most accurate flight-tracking data with the most powerful analytical tools for flight and noise analysis.

Today, the combined company is working together as one, firmly focused on the excellence of its products and the success of its customers.

"We are clearly a stronger company with more resources, clear market leadership, and an improved ability to offer the best technology and solutions available in the air traffic control, military & homeland security and airport operations markets," said Dave Ellison, Era President and CEO.  "Our company now emerges as a global leader, as ONE team with a singular identity and passion for leading the world into a new era of surveillance – in other words, to a world beyond radar."

On Thursday, February 8, in Pardubice, Czech Republic, Era's Board of Directors and management team will be joined by the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, along with representatives from the Czech government, Ministry of Defence, Pardubice government and the Czech ANS to celebrate the successful transatlantic partnership created with the new combined company.

From February 13 to 15, Era will serve as a premier sponsor at ATC Maastricht, the world's most important and highly attended conference on air traffic management.  Era's Board of Director's member, Don Antonucci, has been invited to speak on the conference panel on next-generation ATC solutions, and VP Global Sales Russell Hulstrom has been invited to present a paper on the validation of ADS-B position data.
