Former Sensis Executive, Fred Messina, Joins Era Corporation

Alexandria, VA – March 21, 2007 – Era Corporation announced today that Fred Messina has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Development.  Mr. Messina brings to Era 22 years of leadership in strategic corporate development, program management, government affairs, and technology innovation.  Mr. Messina is an industry-recognized leader in air traffic management systems and network-centric operations applications.

Prior to joining Era, Mr. Messina was Vice President of Strategic Programs at Sensis Corporation, where he orchestrated and implemented the company’s legislative strategy, and was the focal point for strengthening and building long-term business relationships for high-value programs.  Mr. Messina has also held several leadership positions at Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon Company, including Director of Strategic Programs and Pursuits, Director of Advanced Technology Programs and Director of Business Development.
