Don Antonucci, former President of the Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions Company, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for Era Corporation. Mr. Antonucci joined Era’s board in 2006, and brings over 35 years of industry experience and leadership to his role as Chairman.

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (German Air Traffic Services) has selected Era to provide multilateration surface surveillance for the planned Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) at Hamburg Airport.

NATS, recently voted the world's best air navigation service provider in Air Traffic Management's international survey, has selected Era to provide its Squid vehicle tracking units for London Gatwick Airport. The Squid units will support the airport’s Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS), which will go live in April 2008.

Era Corporation announced today the formalization of its Military and Security business unit, which will be led by Standa Spurny. Effective immediately, Mr. Spurny steps into the role of Vice President and General Manager for the Military and Security Solutions business unit, which produces surveillance products for the military and homeland security markets. In this role, Mr. Spurny will have complete profit and loss responsibility for the business.

Era Corporation announced that the Manchester Airport Group has selected MSS by Era, Era’s wide area multilateration and ADS-B surveillance solution, for East Midlands Airport, UK. MSS by Era will initially provide enhanced surveillance information for the airport’s environmental management program, with the option to extend the use of the system to support air traffic control operations, both on the surface and in the approach area.
