The PANYNJ has one of the largest noise monitoring systems in the US consisting of 22 B&K permanent and portable NMTs, monitoring noise events around John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, as well as Teterboro Airport. “This is just another example of the success of the global partnership between Rannoch and Brüel & Kjær,” stated Robert Blair, Rannoch’s Commercial Sales Manager. “Together, our companies continue to share in the success of being awarded some of the most unique and rewarding NOMS jobs around the world. We are pleased to have the Port Authority of New York New Jersey as a client and look forward to a long, lasting relationship.” In addition, Rannoch also recently began installing B&K’s new state-of-the-art 3639-E noise monitoring terminals at Cincinnati’s Lunken Municipal Airport, as well as at Massport, who has ordered 38 of the new noise monitoring terminals for Logan International Airport and Hanscom Field. The New 3639-E monitor has all the modern options users have come to expect, including 1/2 second logging, 1/3 octave band analyses, sound recording, weather data logging, remote control, GPS, and wireless and solar power capability. Rannoch was also recently given an order for a number of Brüel & Kjær noise monitoring terminals at the Denver International Airport to replace other aging units. Beyond Rannoch’s success in the US, Brüel &Kjær has recently won a number of major international NOMS jobs, including Beijing International Airport, as well as the largest NOMS system in the world for the country of Taiwan. Rannoch and Brüel & Kjær have a presence in over 25 countries and 200 airports, representing over half of the global NOMS market.
