Toronto Pearson marks the 7th airport in Canada under contract with Rannoch. The company’s award-winning AirScene system provides a variety of integrated airport management and Air Traffic Control (ATC) applications. Toronto Pearson is one of the world’s top 30 airports, handling over 28 million passengers and 400,000 aircraft movements each year. “We are pleased to add Toronto Pearson International Airport to our AirScene client base and we look forward to bringing our state-of-the-art technologies to the largest airport in Canada," stated Robert Blair, Rannoch’s Commercial Sales Manager. “Toronto joins other key Canadian airports such as Calgary, Springbank, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Hamilton, and Toronto City Airport who benefit from AirScene’s Airport Management and ATC flight tracking technologies. Rannoch Corporation is clearly taking a leadership position with its patented integrated aircraft flight tracking, Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS), and Traffic Information Services technologies (TIS),” added Blair. In addition to providing airport management solutions in Canada, Rannoch has a long standing contractual relationship with Transport Canada and Nav Canada who use Rannoch’s technology for wide area tracking, ATC applications, and surface monitoring applications. The company was also recently awarded two separate contracts for its “extreme wide area” tracking multilateration/ADS-B technologies, including the Primrose Lake Military Evaluation Range in Cold Lake, Alberta, and for military applications in the Vancouver Sound area. Due to patented architectural features, Rannoch’s multilateration tracking technologies are capable of providing more extensive wide area coverage than any other multilateration system. |
